The beginning of a vision
With the vision of ushering in a new era in the chemical industry, Christiane and Peter Trüb founded Trüb Emulsions Chemie AG. What began as a niche product evolved over the years into a pioneering key technology: water-based emulsions and dispersions that today shape numerous industrial sectors.
Early on, the company recognized the potential of sustainable solutions and consistently focused on innovation and the highest quality standards. This strong spirit of pioneering continues to form the foundation of Trüb Chemie’s success to this day.
Growth Through In-House Development
Trüb Emulsions Chemie AG focuses on innovation and entrepreneurial independence. By expanding its own production facilities and acquiring an additional warehouse, the company has significantly increased storage capacity and installed new production units – ensuring maximum efficiency and high flexibility.
The ability to develop and maintain production facilities in-house gives the company exceptional adaptability. This allows customer needs to be met more precisely and new technological developments to be implemented much faster.
Innovation on a New Level
With the construction of the “TECtwo” laboratory and administration building, Trüb Emulsions Chemie AG is making a clear statement for the future. On 600 m² of new space, state-of-the-art research facilities have been created to drive innovation and more than double the laboratory area.
The expansion not only allows for even more precise development of new products but also provides room for additional specialists and experts. With this investment, the company reinforces its commitment to continuous progress and the highest quality standards.

3 Energy-efficient production
The sustainable design of industrial processes is becoming increasingly important in the chemical industry. Energy efficiency and resource conservation play a central role, especially in the production of water-based products. Our company has therefore conducted a comprehensive energy efficiency analysis to identify specific opportunities for reducing energy consumption and optimizing production workflows.
The analysis focused on all relevant production steps — from raw material preparation and formulation to filling and shipping. In doing so, energy-related weaknesses were identified and concrete measures were developed to significantly reduce overall energy demand.
These measures include, among others:
- the use of modern, modular heat-generation systems,
- the optimization of stirring and mixing processes,
- the implementation of energy-efficient pump and drive systems,
- the installation and operation of a photovoltaic system,
- and the intelligent control of process times and temperatures.
Thanks to these measures, water-based products can be manufactured in an environmentally friendly yet economically efficient manner. The result is a significant reduction in energy consumption while maintaining consistently high product quality.
By implementing the identified efficiency measures, the company strengthens its position as a sustainable producer in the chemical industry and makes an active contribution to climate protection — fully aligned with the goals of resource-efficient and future-oriented production.
